The short version. Leafy Scale is free to use, and its health information is free for good. Pro is an optional one-time purchase. It is a tracking tool, not medical advice.

These terms cover Leafy Scale, a BMI and weight tracking app published by Leafy Orb. They sit alongside the LeafyOrb Terms of Service; where the two differ for this app, this page governs.

1. Not medical advice

Leafy Scale shows BMI, weight trends, estimates such as body fat and calories, and general guidance on pace. These are for information and motivation only. They are not a diagnosis, are not a medical device, and do not replace a health professional. Estimates can be wrong for many people, including athletes, older adults, and anyone pregnant or with a health condition. Talk to a doctor before big changes to what you eat or how you exercise, and about any concern you have. Children’s results are percentiles from public growth charts and should be discussed with a paediatrician.

2. What is free

The BMI gauge and its explanation, logging, trends, insights, the goal plan, reminders and achievements are free. We will not put health and safety information behind a payment.

3. Leafy Scale Pro

Pro adds tools such as family profiles, the doctor report, sync, export and backup, progress photos and more. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The store shows the price in your currency before you confirm and takes the payment. Pro can be restored on a new device from the Pro screen. Refunds are the store’s to give, under Apple’s or Google’s policy. What Pro includes may grow; if we ever have to remove part of it, the app will say so first.

4. Your data

Your data is stored on your device and is yours. You are responsible for keeping backups you make in a safe place. See the Leafy Scale Privacy Policy.

5. Fair use

Use Leafy Scale for yourself and the people you care for. Do not try to reverse-engineer, resell or misrepresent the app or its artwork.

6. No warranty

Leafy Scale is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be free of faults or always available, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for anything beyond the amount you paid for it, or for decisions made on the basis of its numbers.

7. Changes
