The short version. Leafy Scale needs no account, has no servers of its own and no ads, analytics or trackers. Your weights, notes, measurements, photos and settings stay on your phone. Data leaves it only when you choose: syncing with Health Connect or Apple Health, saving or sharing a file, or buying Leafy Scale Pro.

This policy covers Leafy Scale, a BMI and weight tracking app published by Leafy Orb. It sits alongside the LeafyOrb Privacy Policy; where the two differ for this app, this page governs.

1. Who we are

Leafy Scale is published by Leafy Orb, 937/2, Maruthupandiar Street, Thasilthar Nagar, Madurai, Tamil Nadu 625020, India.

2. What stays on your device

Everything you enter: the people you add (name, sex, age or date of birth, height), weights, dates, notes, tags, calories, body measurements, goals, reminders, badges, progress photos and settings. It is stored in the app’s own storage on your device and is not sent to us. We have no copy of it and cannot see it.

This is health information, so we keep it to the device on purpose. Your device’s own backup (to Google or Apple) may include it if you have that turned on; that backup is under your control, not ours. Deleting the app deletes everything it stored.

3. What leaves your device, and only when you choose

Health Connect (Android) and Apple Health (iPhone). If you turn on sync, Leafy Scale writes the body weights you log to Health Connect or Apple Health on your device, and can read past body weights from it to import them. It asks only for body weight. That data moves between apps on your device and is not sent to us. Leafy Scale does not use Health Connect or Apple Health data for advertising, does not sell it, and does not share it with anyone. You can turn sync off, or remove access in Health Connect or the Health app, at any time.

Files you save or share. A backup file, a CSV export, a doctor report PDF and a progress image are made on your device. They go wherever you send them through your device’s share sheet, and nowhere else. A backup file contains your entries and settings (not photos); keep it somewhere private.

Purchases, only if you make one. Leafy Scale Pro is a one-time purchase. Payment is handled by Google Play or the App Store; we never see your card or account details. To confirm and restore Pro, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives a random identifier the app creates (not your name or email), the purchase receipt, and basic technical details such as app version, platform and the store’s country. None of your health data is included. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.

Nothing else leaves your device: no analytics, no crash reporting, no ads and no account. If we ever add anything, this page changes first and the app will say so before the release that does it.

4. Permissions

Notifications, only if you turn on reminders. They are scheduled by your device; there is no push server. Camera and photos, only when you add a progress photo; the photo is copied into the app’s own storage and never uploaded. Health Connect / Apple Health, only if you turn on sync, and only for body weight. Leafy Scale does not use your microphone, contacts or location. The network is used only for purchases.

5. Children

Leafy Scale is made for adults. A parent or guardian may add a child’s profile to track their growth; that information stays on the parent’s device like everything else, and children’s profiles get growth percentiles, not weight-loss targets. The app is not directed to children and has no chat, accounts or public content.

6. Not medical advice

Leafy Scale is a screening and tracking tool, not a medical device. BMI is not a diagnosis. Talk to a health professional about your health.

7. Your choices and deleting your data

You can delete a single entry, a person, or all entries in the app at any time, and turn reminders and sync off. Because everything is on your device, deleting the app deletes it permanently. Data you synced to Health Connect or Apple Health stays there until you remove it in those apps.

If you bought Pro, RevenueCat holds the record of it against the random identifier so it can be restored. To have that record deleted, email support@leafyorb.com with “deletion” in the subject and the order number from your store receipt.
