What it does

One tap. Two roads. A lot of drivers.

Every tap turns one road red and the other green. Time it right and the traffic flows; switch while cars are still crossing and they crash. Wait too long and drivers lose patience.

Switch the lights

Every vehicle pays the toll

Each car, bus and truck that gets through pays the city's congestion toll. Buses and trucks pay more, and drivers who never had to stop add a bonus. Reach the toll goal before the clock runs out.

  • Lights go yellow before red, so plan the switch
  • Patience rings show who has waited too long
  • A crash costs a heart and a repair bill

Weather and sirens

Rain, snow, fog and storms

Rain makes the roads slippery. Snow means braking early. Fog and storms slow everyone down. And when an ambulance or police car is coming, clear the way and give it a green light.

  • Each city has its own weather and look
  • Thunder, rain and wind you can hear
  • Rescue bonuses for every siren you clear

Build smarter streets

Ten cities, and a budget to spend

Start in sleepy Maple Grove with a single crossroads and work up through desert towns, ski villages, harbours, beaches and neon-lit downtowns to the Grand Capital, where several junctions run at once.

  • Upgrades: quicker signals, countdown timers, higher tolls, bus and taxi lanes, a green wave
  • Boosts like Slow Motion and Calm Drivers for when traffic gets out of hand
  • Parking meters keep earning while you're away

Questions

Good to know

When can I get it?

Traffic City is coming soon to Google Play for Android phones and tablets. An iPhone and iPad version for the App Store will follow.

Is it free?

Yes. Every city, level and mode is free. The Supporter pack is an optional one-time purchase.

Are there ads?

Only if you ask for one. You can watch a short video to double a level's toll or to get one heart back when you run out. Nothing else in the game shows an ad, and Supporters never see one.

Do I need an account or an internet connection?

No account is needed, and the game plays offline. Your progress and settings stay on your device. The optional ads and the Supporter pack need a connection.

It runs slowly on my phone.

Turn on Reduce effects in Settings. It cuts particles and decorations so busy cities stay smooth.

Is it suitable for children?

Traffic City is made for a general audience aged 13 and over. There is no violence beyond cars bumping, no chat and no account.

Who makes it, and how do I get help?

Traffic City is made by Leafy Orb. Email support@leafyorb.com or see Support.
