Privacy Policy

The short version. Focus Flow Finish works without an account. Your session history, streaks and settings stay on your device. We don't sell or rent your data, we don't show ads, and the app contains no advertising identifiers. The app does send anonymous usage and crash diagnostics, and it fetches music from our servers while you listen.

This policy describes how Focus Flow Finish, a mobile app published by Leafy Orb (“LeafyOrb”, “we”, “us”), handles information. It sits alongside the LeafyOrb Privacy Policy; where the two differ for this app, the page you are reading governs.

1. What stays on your device

The app stores the following locally, using your device's own storage. We cannot read it, and it is never uploaded:

Your focus session history, streaks and weekly statistics
Your settings — chosen theme, timer mode, playback and notification preferences
Any soundscapes you download for offline listening
The referral source recorded on first launch, if you arrived through a link we published

Deleting the app removes all of it. There is no cloud backup, no sync and no account, so there is nothing for us to restore if you do.

2. No account

Focus Flow Finish requires no sign-up, no email address and no profile. We never ask for your name, and we have no way to identify you as a person.

3. What leaves your device

The app uses a small number of processors. Each receives only what its function requires:

Usage analytics — Google Firebase Analytics

The app records a short list of events so we can see which features are actually used: the app being opened, a focus session starting and completing (with the mode, the theme and the number of minutes focused), a theme being selected, the upgrade screen being viewed, and a purchase being started. Firebase also collects standard device and app information — model, operating system version, language, country derived from IP address, and a randomly generated app instance identifier.

These events describe how the app is used. They contain no notes, no personal content and no precise location. Analytics and crash reporting are enabled by default in the released app.

Crash diagnostics — Google Firebase Crashlytics

When the app crashes we receive a stack trace and technical device state so the fault can be fixed. Crash reports contain no content you created.

Anti-abuse — Google Firebase App Check

Before the app is served music, your device produces an integrity token via Google Play Integrity (Android) or Apple App Attest (iOS). This confirms the request comes from a genuine, unmodified copy of the app rather than a script. It attests the app and device, not you, and we use it solely to stop our music catalogue being copied wholesale.

Configuration — Google Firebase Remote Config

The app periodically fetches settings — such as which themes are free and how prices are described — so we can adjust them without shipping an update. The request carries the app instance identifier and device information described above.

Purchases — Apple, Google and RevenueCat

Plus is sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google — we never see your card number, billing address or full payment details. We use RevenueCat to track whether a purchase is currently active. RevenueCat receives purchase and receipt information and a random, app-generated identifier. It does not receive your name or contact details from us.

That random identifier is also attached to the analytics and crash records above, so a crash can be matched to the session that caused it. It is not linked to your Apple or Google account, and it cannot be traced back to you by us.

Music delivery — Cloudflare

Soundscapes are stored with and delivered by Cloudflare (Workers and R2). When the app requests a track, Cloudflare receives that request and, as with any web server, records standard connection information including your IP address in its logs. We use this only to deliver audio and to detect abuse.

4. Notifications

The app schedules notifications on your device to tell you when a focus block or break has ended. They are generated locally by the app. Focus Flow Finish sends no push notifications and no marketing messages; the app is built without push capability at all. You can disable notifications in your device settings.

5. Offline use

The timer, themes, statistics and any downloaded soundscapes work without a connection. Streaming music, refreshing the catalogue and validating a purchase require internet access.

6. What we do not do

We do not sell or rent your personal data.
We do not show advertising, and the app contains no advertising SDK or advertising identifier.
We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
We do not collect your contacts, photos, microphone, calendar or precise location.
We do not record what you are working on — the app has no notes or task fields.

7. Children

Focus Flow Finish is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13, or the equivalent age in your region. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Retention

Data on your device is kept until you delete it or uninstall the app. Analytics events are retained by Firebase according to our configured retention period and then deleted. Crash reports are retained while they remain useful for diagnosing a fault. Purchase records are kept for as long as needed to honour entitlements and to meet tax and accounting obligations.

9. Your rights and choices

Because your session data lives on your device, you control it directly: clear it in the app or uninstall to remove it entirely. Depending on where you live — for example the EU or UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA/CPRA — you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port data we hold, and to object to certain processing. Because we hold no information that identifies you by name, we may need you to supply the app-generated identifier shown in the app before we can act on a request. Email support@leafyorb.com.

10. Data location and transfers

Leafy Orb is based in India. Our processors — Google, Apple, RevenueCat and Cloudflare — operate globally and may process the data described above in the United States and elsewhere, with the safeguards for international transfers required by applicable law.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will change the “last updated” date above and, for significant changes, give notice in the app or on this site.
